What services do you offer? We offer a variety of financial and administrative services for California governments. However, we specialize in providing internal audit services, helping with the annual close and preparation of the annual financial statements, interim financial management, internal control assessment, fraud investigation, and implementation of new accounting pronouncements and regulations. Please see our list of services for more detailed information.
Do you work remotely or on-site? Our clients and we learned during the global pandemic how to work together remotely without jeopardizing the communication that is critical to the success of every project. We have all the tools and technologies that are appropriate to successful remote work and most of our work is done remotely. However, we work on-site when the needs of the project or the culture and expectations of our client call for it. Please get in touch here to discuss your desired on-site services.
Do you work with the entire finance department personnel or only with top managers? This depends on your local government’s situation and the scope of the project we are hired to perform. Sometimes, we work with only a handful of critical managers involved to keep the flow intact, and sometimes it is in the best interest to involve the larger team. When we offer on-site training (see this blog post for an example of how on-site training may play out) usually the whole department is involved.
How much do your services cost? The cost of our services depends on the number of professional hours required and the experience levels of the professionals involved. The number of hours a project takes depends on the project scope and complexity, the level of participation of client staff, the availability of documentation required, and the responsiveness of client personnel. We pride ourselves on transparent pricing, and will provide an estimated project cost after our initial consultation and discussion, where our firm can gather more insights on your project and government.
Do you offer free consultations? We offer a free 30-minutes phone consultation where we discuss your current situation, and how we could best help your government. Click here to schedule your free consultation.
